Cougar Lodge

Cougar Lodge is located in a remote and picturesque region on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It is a rustic and serene retreat nestled between the dense coastal rainforest and the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Cougar Lodge is constructed from natural wood, blending harmoniously with the rugged environment. It features wide verandas and large windows to maximize views of the ocean and surrounding wilderness.

Inside, the lodge is warm and inviting, with high, timber-framed ceilings and large communal spaces. A wood stove fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere.

Four guest rooms with double and twin bunk beds are comfortable and intimate, designed to connect visitors with nature. Rooms have ocean views, decks, and simple yet elegant furnishings made from local materials. Beds are dressed in soft linens, and the ambience is calm and relaxing. The lodge also boasts 4 bathrooms (3 piece – shower, sink and toilet).

Laundry facilities on site: washer and dryer.

Cougar Lodge is surrounded by unspoiled wilderness, with trails that lead through moss-draped forests, tidal pools to explore, and an ever-changing seascape of rocky islands and channels. The kitchen features an open-concept design, allowing for easy interaction with guests and blending seamlessly into a communal dining and living room area. Large windows provide stunning views of the ocean, forest, and the surrounding wilderness.

Equipped with a large, professional-grade stove and oven, capable of preparing meals for multiple guests. Ample counter space for food preparation, complete with cutting boards, and pull-out drawers for utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, dishes, and everything you need for making delicious home cooked meals.

A central island with seating doubles as a workspace and gathering spot, with bar stools. Stainless Steel fridge, dishwasher and more provide a balance between modern living and lodge aesthetics.
