About Tiičma
Our local economy has always been linked to the lands and waters and the many plants, animals, and fish that call them home.
With the implementation of the Maa-nulth treaty in 2011, Ka:’yu:’k’t’h’/Che:k:tles7et’h’ First Nations (KCFN) recognized that own-source revenue generation from existing and new business opportunities was going to be key to successfully achieve their vision.
Tiičma Enterprises, the KCFN Group of Businesses, was established to manage and operate the Nations’ businesses, and to provide entrepreneurship support and resources for members of the Nations interested in starting or growing a business venture.
Our Vision
Grounded in Ka:’yu:’k’t’h’/Che:k:tles7et’h’ culture and values, the vision of Tiičma Enterprises is to support prosperity and opportunity for current and future generations.
Our Mission
To manage profitable businesses, build a successful economic base, and foster entrepreneurship within KCFN.
Guiding Principles
KCFN has developed seven guiding principles for economic development, and Tiičma follows these when operating and developing our businesses.
